Fundraising activities
All funds the Narooma Lions Club raises are returned to the community. Most funds are provided for the benefit of the local community, with some funds going to Lions International to further worldwide community projects.
Over the past 12 months, Narooma Lions Club has raised funds through various fundraising activities.
Barbecues
Narooma Lions hold regular barbecues to raise funds for community projects. These are often held in conjunction with other activities, such as the Tilba Festival at Easter, and on Sundays at the popular Bar Beach swimming area.
Lions Mints provide a valuable source of fundraising monies during the year. The monies raised go to worthwhile projects, locally, within Australia or anywhere else in the world. If you see Lions Mints on sale, please buy a packet or two.
We get Christmas cakes baked for Lions Clubs around the country.
We often use other events at which we are asked to participate to raise much-needed funds for our community activities.
If you see a Lions fundraising event, please say hello and see if you can help us to achieve our goals of making a difference to our community.
